Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Dengan Pendekatan Open Ended Untuk Mengembangkan Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) Siswa SMP

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to produce learning tools with an open-ended approach to develop the higher order thinking skills (HOTS) abilities of junior high school students. This research is a development research using the Borg & Gall model. The research was conducted through preliminary studies, product design, FGD in order to validate products, limited trials, revisions, field trials, revisions, and final products. The data were obtained through filling out the validity sheet, practicality sheet, and tests. Validity, practicality, and effectiveness data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the validity of the learning tools was very good, the practicality of the learning tools was very good, the test results showed that the average student mastery of HOTS was in the good category so that it can be concluded that the developed device was feasible to be implemented.
