Abstract

This activity was conducted in Lebaksiuh Village, Cimenyan Sub-district, Bandung Regency.  This activity is in the form of education on healthy living behavior through the process of tofu-based ingredients. The target of this activity is the group of women and housewives of the ‘PKK group’ in RT 05 RW 01 of the area. The method used for this research is the qualitative method with an experimental approach. The target group is divided into two groups; the first group is given guidance by the instructors from the beginning until the tofu-based ingredients are ready to be consumed.  However, the second group practiced is not given guidance by the instructors. The target group is processed to cook tofu-based ingredients in many variations of food recipes, and then they immediately try to taste the food. The result is: the first group who processes the tofu-base ingredient with the instructor‘s guidance succeeded in food processing tofu-base ingredients in the level of doneness of the food and the taste than the second group. The target group comprehends that the food processing of tofu is not only being fried but also can be processed in many kinds of variations. The proper-food processing of tofu as the basic ingredient will be given perfect nutrition for people’s health. From this activity, they realize that consuming fried food for a long time will harm people’s health.
