Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matemati siswa SMP yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasy Experimental Design yang merupakan salah satu bentuk dari penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perhitungan analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama yaitu sebesar 0,000 dan nilai α = 0,05 dengan demikian ditolak atau terdapat perbedaan antara peserta didik yang diberi perlakuan metode pembelajaran CTL menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan metode konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Melalui perhitungan anava dua jalan sel tak sama diketahui nilai p-value terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep sebesar 0,000 dan nilai α = 0,05 dengan demikian ditolak atau ada perbedaan peserta didik yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent dan field dependent terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract: In mathematics, students' understanding is a form of themselves in the form of cognitive art through objects, experiences, and their environment. Students must think actively, build concepts and interpret something that is being thought. In addition, there are other mathematics problem in the classroom which consists of basic mathematics so that when middle school and they are hampered. This article aims to discuss whether there is an effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model using gamification teaching materials on the ability to understand mathematical concepts in terms of cognitive style. In this article, the researcher apply Quasy Experimental Design which is a form of quantitative research. The results showed that there was an effect of the CTL learning model using gamification teaching materials on the improvement of students' mathematical conceptual abilities. Classes that apply the CTL learning model use gamification teaching materials that have an increased ability to understand mathematical concepts that are better than those that apply conventional learning methods.
