Antroponim Rusia Sebagai Salah Satu Materi Pengajaran Budaya Rusia

Abstract

One of the subject that should be given in teaching  ‘Russian Culture’ is called Anthroponymy.  Anthroponymy is an important aspect in the Russian culture, because it is related to the communication between each person in addressing personal namings and greetings. The specialty of Russian Anthroponymy lies in its structure and usage of a personal name in Rusian Culture.   Russian Anthroponymy structures  in the names, such as: Family name + personal name+ father’s name, e.g (Tixonov Aleksadr  Nikolaevič  = male’s name  (Tixonova Aleksadra Nikolaevna = female’s name).This research is intended to show the students who learn Russian language and the people interested in learning Russian language to comprehend  the Russian  Anthroponymy  etiquette. This research uses descriptive qualitative method.  The data are taken from the  textbooks, and the story books written in Russian language. The data taken from the conversation in Russian language are analyzed based on Anthroponymy and its variations. The results are that the students do not understand that  the etiquette in the Russian culture  to address the Russian  respected adults,  such as  the personal name + father’s name, e.g: Anatoliy Ananolievič dan  Elena Anatolevna. From this personal name Anatoliy and Elena, it can be found many variations , such as:1.Anatoliy - Tolya – Toley – Tolen’ka – Tolik;  2. Anatol’ka – Anatolečka - Anatolenok - Anatolik;  3. Elena – Lena – Len’ka – Lenočka – Len’čik -  Lenok -  Lenoček,etc. The variations of the personal names are added by the suffixes. Adding the suffixes in the personal names are related to the Russian culture, owing to the fact that from the addresses, the speakers can be expressed many kinds of feelings, such as, the expression of love, happy, sad, angry, and admire. Besides that, the conditions, such as, communication situation, and the relation between speakers-partners are important to be considered, so that the speakers-partners may  use the correct addresses in the communications. Therefore, Anthroponymy is essential to be learnt by the students who study Russian language.
