Abstract

Abstract: The implementation of PPKM level 4 in the East Nusa Tenggara region as an action of preventing the spread of covid 19 brings its own challenges and problems in the field of education, especially in teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of the use of whiteboard animation videos as a medium of physics teaching materials in online teaching and learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses quantitative research methods with descriptive analysis techniques. The subjects were students of class X H SMA Negeri 5 Kota Kupang with a total of 36 students. Students' perceptions were measured using a questionnaire technique with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that the students' perceptions of the overall aspect were 88.89% (strongly agree category), the explanation aspect was 80.22% (strongly agree category), the learning features were 89.44% (strongly agree category), the pace were 76.11% (agree category), the engagement is 77.22% (agree category), the future purpose is 85.42% (strongly agree). The results showed that the perceptions of students strongly agreed to use the whiteboard animation videos as a medium for physics teaching materials in online learning during the covid 19 pandemic.
