Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the education of child workers in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The unit of analysis that is the target of this research is school-age child workers who work in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. Determination of research subjects using snowball sampling. Observation, interviews, and documentation collected data. The data analysis uses the Interactive model from Miles, Matthew Huberman. The results of this study are child workers who are in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Mandalika, the focus is on the Kuta Beach area, they are on average receiving education at the basic education level. they get formal education at school and non-formal education at TPQ to learn the Quran. There is no follow-up to activities, both formal and non-formal, after leaving the institution.  This is because children who work in the Kuta Beach area are busy working after school so there is no time to re-learn or carry out supporting activities from their education.
