Student Teams Achievement Division: Sebuah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di SDN Pisangan Timur 05 Pagi

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi operasi hitung bilangan melalui model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengikuti model Kemmis dan Taggart. Penelitian ini mencangkup 2 Siklus dimana masing-masing Siklus mencangkup 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan/observasi dan Refleksi dengan subyek penelitian 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika yang signifikan pada siswa kelas V SDN Pisangan Timur 05 Pagi Kota Jakarta Timur. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil rata-rata tes matematika pada setiap siklus meningkat yaitu pada siklus I 41,60 peningkatannya sebesar 10 siswa dan siklus II 87,50% peningkatannya sebesar 21 siswa. Sehingga belajar matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes in the material for arithmetic operations through the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. The research method uses classroom action research following the Kemmis and Taggart models. This research includes 2 cycles where each cycle includes 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting with 24 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques using tests, interviews and observation. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students at SDN Pisangan Timur 05 Pagi Kota East Jakarta. This is evidenced by the average result of the math test in each cycle increased, namely in the first cycle of 41.60 the increase was 10 students and the second cycle was 87.50% the increase was 21 students. So that learning mathematics using the STAD learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in material arithmetic operations.
